INSTANT DHOKLA
INGREDIENTS
- Gram Flour (Besan)-1 cup
- Semolina (Sooji)-1 cup
- Curd in liquid form-1 cup
- Sugar-2-3 teaspoon
- Salt-1/4 teaspoon
- Oil-2 tablespoon
- Turmeric-1/4 teaspoon
- Eno-1 packet
- Lemon-1/2
- Curry Leaves-5-6
- Coriander leaves
- Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon
- Green chillies cut into half-4-5
- 1 cup water
METHOD
- Mix gram flour,semolina & curd.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice & 1/2 a teaspoon sugar.
- Add little extra water to the batter if required.
- Add 1 tablespoon oil & make a smooth batter.
- Grease a microwave safe container with oil.
- Add eno powder to the mixture & don't beat it too hard.
- Just quickly mix it & pour it into the greased container.
- Keep the container in the microwave & steam for 5-6 minutes.
- After that take it out & prick it with a knife.If the knife comes out clean, dhokla is properly cooked.
- Allow it to cool & then take it out from the container & cut it into pieces.
- Next, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves & green chillies.
- Allow them to crackle & then add coriander leaves.
- Add 1 cup water & then add 2-3 teaspoons sugar to it.
- Boil it for 2 minutes.
- Allow it to cool down & then pour it over dhokla.
- Dhokla is ready to serve.
